Thank you for visiting my website.
My name is Farah Jindani and I am a research psychologist and clinical social worker. I work from a holistic framework blending contemplative practices (including mindfulness, breath work, and yoga) with Western psychology and neuroscience.
For more than 10 years, I have provided counselling to individuals, couples and adolescents working from an integrative perspective. This means that the therapeutic process is dependent on your needs: treatment may involve supportive talk therapy, coaching, assisted yoga postures, guided relaxation exercises, or meditation. I work to understand you and your experiences in the context of your lived experiences, relationships and the society in which we live. For some clients, the yoga mat is used as a transformative place to ‘get out of their head’ and use their breath and body as a tool for recovery.
I also supervise other therapists and offer facilitation, program development, evaluation and consulting services to organizations.
